BATTERED FRIED FISH
- 6 pieces of Hake fillet
- 1 teaspoon of Cajun spice or crushed chilli
- ¾ cup cake flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch/ Maizena
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup water
- 1 beaten egg
- oil for deep fry
Mix everything besides the fish fillets.
Dip the fish fillets in the coating, one at the time and make sure it’s well coated.
Deep fry on medium heat until well done.
Served with freshly cut chips.
