5 MINUTES CAKE IN SANDWICH MAKER

  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ cup cooking oil/butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup cake flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Add egg and sugar to a bowl and whisk until mixture changes colour and fluff up.
Now add milk, vanilla and oil in the egg mixture and whisk again to combine everything.
Add in cake flour, baking powder and mix everything well with a spatula.
Take a sandwich maker and brush it with some oil or spray with spray and cook.
Preheat the sandwich maker when you start the dough.
Pour the cake batter in each section, but do not over fill.
Bake for 3 – 4 minutes until light brown. Remove cakes.
Repeat the process with the rest of the mixture.
Cool down and dust with some powdered sugar and serve.

Options for filling:
You can use butter icing between 2 cakes or use as a dessert with chocolate sauce or warm custard.
This recipe makes 8 – 10 small cakes. Double the recipe for more cakes.
