GRANOLA LOAF

Cook: ± 35 to 40 minutes

GRANOLA LOAF

It’s delicious 😋

  • 1½ cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups granola of your choice (I used the one with raisins and cranberries)

Pre-heat oven to 160 ºC. I used the thermo-fan.
Mix the wet ingredients together and in a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients. Fold the wet ingredients gently into the dry ingredients and don’t overmix it. Spoon the mixture into a greased bread pan and bake for ± 35 to 40 minutes.
After 35 to 40 minutes, test the bread with a toothpick to ensure it is baked and ready on the inside. If the toothpick comes out dry and clean, the bread is ready.

Note:
The batter can also be used to bake muffins. Baking time 25 minutes.
Use some granola and spread on top for decorating, before the loaf or muffins go into the oven.

Ek het dit in muffin panne gebak – dit gee 12 muffins.
Halwe teelepel kaneel by die beslag gevoeg, en ook bo oor gesprinkel na die tyd.
Slegs 100 ml suiker gebruik.
