EDIBLE COOKIE DOUGH

You know when you bake cookies and your little ones want to eat the raw dough? Well, here you go. You can thank me later. (I know we all did it when we were younger, some of us still do. But let’s take the risk of salmonella out of the equation.)
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Smarties or chocolate chips or whatever you feel like mixing in there, optional

Firstly, place the raw flour in the microwave for 60 seconds. Get rid of pathogens.
Cream the butter and sugar together for a minute or so. Mix in the flour. Add the vanilla essence and the milk and mix together. You might need a little bit more milk but you know what cookie dough looks like. Once you’re happy with the consistency, add your Smarties or chocolate chips.
