CREAMY BLUE CHEESE SAUCE
My BBB gourmet burger 😀 brinjal, basil and blue cheese.
Creamy blue cheese sauce in under 3 mins. This sauce is the easiest one to make!
- 125 ml fresh cream
- 50 gm high fat blue veined cheese like Zimonzola or creamy Blue (half the wedge in the foil wrapping)
- 10 ml cornstarch
Put the cream and broken cheese pieces in a cup and warm in microwave under cheese starts melting (about a minute).
Stir the cornstarch into the creamy sauce until no lumps remain.
Put in microwave for another 15 sec and stir.
Repeat once more and the sauce should be thick.
Serve on meat or with fish.
On this burger I assembled starting with toasted halves of Portugese rolls, fresh tomato slices, basil leaves, sliced red onion rings, fried brinjal slices, beef patty and topped with the creamy blue cheese sauce.
