BLACK BEAN BROWNIES

Ons ondersoek en beproef gereeld resepte van meer gesonde, maar steeds dekadente lekkernye. Die volgende is ‘n wenner en nie TE soet nie: Amazing!

  • 260 g canned black beans (ek gebruik gewone “kidney beans” sag gekook)
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cups oil (canola/”vegetable” – ek al olyf blend en klapperolie gebruik)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons strong coffee mixed with al little boiling water
  • ¾ cups cacao
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 8½ tablespoons choc chips (ek gebruik Bournville dark)

Blend wet ingredients from beans down to coffee in blender.
Mix all dry ingredients (except choc chips) together.
Make a well in dry mix and add bean mixture. Mix well and when almost mixed through, add 1/2 the choc chips and fold in.
Sprinkle remaining choc chips over after you pour mixture in a prepared dish/pan.
Bake in a 8 × 8 inch pan for about 25 min.

Note:
I have used a slightly bigger pan once too for bigger but more flat squares.
