Ek is mal oor uie ringe, maar is normaalweg nie suksesvol daarmee nie. Hierdie resep is die goue middeweg en jy kan ook ipv die uie heelpit mielies of ander groente gebruik. Heerlike bykos wat in rekord tyd gemaak kan word. Dit was vanoggend net so lekker in my kosblik werk toe 😁

  • 3/4 cups cake flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt – according to taste
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 2 1/2 cup chopped onions (not too finely)
  • Optional:
  • chopped parsley/chives/finely grated Parmesan
  • oil for frying

Mix together dry ingredients. Add milk and stir, the batter will be thick.
Add the chopped onions and mix thoroughly.
Heat 1/2 inch oil in skillet over medium high heat.
Drop batter with a tablespoon in hot oil, flatten slightly, brown on both sides until nice and crisp.
Drain on paper towels when done. Serve warm.
